If you think telling someone who's about to testify in front of a House committee that his own affairs and misconduct will be discussed at length is witness tampering you need to seek help.

This may be the most idiotic post in the thread. Cohen's credibility is relevant and Gaetz has every right to question him about it. By law, that isn't obstructing justice. That he's telegraphing it with 24 hours notice is actually a benefit to Cohen.

There's a whole bunch of obstruction statutes and if you're threatening to reveal embarrassing information to deter a witness from testifying before Congress, I think he needs advice about whether he violated one or more of them.
