You can't just call the cops on your neighbor and ask them to take your neighbor's guns away.
But ultimately that is what happens. Look we've seen this played out in history before. First you divide the people politically, socially, racially etc. Then you mingle them together in neighborhoods. Then you allow the dynamics of human interaction (or lack thereof) to pit one neighbor against another. Add something like the "Red Flag Laws" which allows folks to make groundless accusations all the while remaining anonymous and suddenly an innocent man finds the police knocking on his door demanding answers. You folks have any idea the devestating impact of police knocking on your door? The police show up at guys house to question him about accusations and instantly the guy (and his family) finds himself the object of gossip and suspicion. The poor guy has no way to face his accusers. Presto......you've created a police state.
IMO Red Flag Laws are blantantly unconstitutional and very very dangerous. I don't see how SCOTUS will allow this.

quote:
1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.
2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
3. Abolition of all right of inheritance.
4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
6. Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.
7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
8. Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of the population over the country.
10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labour in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.
Is there any doubt as to which party this is?
