This is a thread where some of us who've dropped obscene taxes on second homes over the years can relate to a similar market there, where owners are now being told their rates are not nearly high enough.

And what happens to all the foreign money that is tied up in NYC real estate not as second homes but as a place to park large amounts of cash. What happens to the housing market prices if the Chinese and other foreign entities dump these properties?
