I must have heard that stupid arse Cornyn ad about voting with Trump 99% of the time, over a thousand times.
yeah - that and the video clips of Trump saying 'good job' or showing Crpyny at the border

It’s not about spending and never was.
Spending matters.
The issue here for Cornyn and others is the GOPe is extremely unpopular with the base.
If you are clearly a do nothing GOPe member of Congress and Trump comes for you in a primary you’re cooked.
What happens in the general election remains to be seen, but Trump is the primary mechanism to determine candidates in the primaries right now for the GOP.

For years we were told, candidate A outspent candidate B 2 to 1 and that was the difference in the election.
The 2016 Presidential Election should have shown everyone what bullshite that was. The constant free press DJT got from CNN alone rendered every penny Hillary spent moot.

That was all bullshlt. Cornyn outspent Paxton $100m to $4m and got the ever living shlt beat outta him.
Good post. And a reminder. Media is already saying Paxton must come up with $200 million more to win against the Democrat... I don't believe it.
I'm fairly certain Paxton doesn't need to even spend much money, if any. He's the Texas State Attorney General for heaven's sake.
'Texans... just select a straight Republican ticket in November please... paid for by your Attorney General, Ken Paxton'
