Being that way for so long and so public with it has, sadly, brought others down to his pathetic level to a degree with the Moscow Mitch thing.

So all the savage and disgusting tactics politicians have used since the beginning of time are cool but dumb nicknames are a red line?
Trump also won independents in 2016 after nicknaming almost everyone.
ETA: You might personally dislike it but it is one of the main reasons he won the election. The branding he did of Jeb, Cruz, Rubio, and Hillary was masterful.
