The lie obviously serves to cast doubts on his truthfulness as a witness.

quote:

Lt. Colonel Alexander Vindman was caught exaggerating his resume and his role in the White House to congressional lawmakers in Tuesday’s round of public hearings during the Democrats’ partisan impeachment proceedings.

Vindman previously claimed in his opening statement to be the “principal advisor to the National Security Advisor and the president on Ukraine and the other countries in my portfolio.”

When asked about the claim however by Republican Congressman Mike Turner of Ohio, Vindman admitted to having never met, spoken with, or advised the president on anything.

“You’ve never spoken to the president and told him advice on Ukraine,” Turner said.

“That is correct,” Vindman said.

Vindman is a criminal Leaker, who engaged in a conspiracy to undermine a duly elected POTUS and Policy. The evidence coming via the Senate will bear this out. And Barr/Durham will drop the hammer.

Going outside of the chain of command is rank insubordination. He needs to at least face a court-martial board for that at a bare minimum.

When the "whistle blower" is exposed in the Senate and it comes out the Vindman knew him and discussed this with him, I want to see him charged and tried for the crime of perjury.

A swamp rat is still a rat even if he wears a uniform.

This whole ordeal is nauseating.

That’s fine. Courts-martial can convene for multiple charges, just like a civilian court.

Slap a conduct unbecoming charge on for good measure.

That too. He'd be in Leavenworth for a long time.

If I were the attorney for that committee I'd have found some way to work Ciaramella's name into the questioning. Maybe by asking about a number of people he knew and working in a question like, "In your work with former VP Biden, did you ever interact with a man named Eric Ciaramella?" When all hell broke loose with Schitt, we would have proof he knew.

I’m no Code of Military Justice expert but that sounds like at least life in Leavenworth.

For anyone who may know. Doesn't duty within the NSC require staffers to sign NDA's ?

I must have at least 10 NDA's on file from My time with the Navy. If I had listened to a secure line, and then ran and told someone, who then used the information to make a Whistleblower complaint, I would have been cm'd so fast, I wouldn't know my arse from up.
