Ballots need to be numbered and as hard to counterfeit as a $100 bill. All voter registrations need to be physically confirmed and signature checked.

Also, this meeting with all its recommendations for change to the election code happened the day after the RFP was released. Look through it for shitty changes that allows for a private vendor to come in and take over old election procedures that humans otherwise would have performed and any other crappy lagniappe. I’ll be doing the same.

Hear hear. Paper ballots and hand count only. I don't even care if it takes an extra day to count. That's enough talk about machine involvement. This is THE area where automation has no place. It cannot be done honestly and you are an absolute fool to believe it can. They laugh that you are working with them to set up these machines. The sheer amount of complex junk being added to merely tabulate is by design guys.
I say gut it out. Give us paper so we can make our mark and move the heck on with life. Why does everything we do now become an episode of days of our lives.

This is absolutely insane! Ardoin should be spending his time investigating the myriad serious allegations against Dominion instead of crafting a sweeheart $100 million contract.
