Louisiana Health and Welfare Committee Meeting concerning the covid shot
Monday, December 6, 2021 10:00 a.m.
House Committee Room 5
In accordance with R.S. 49:968(D)(2), oversight hearing on the administrative rule proposed by the Louisiana Department of Health to amend the state immunization schedule provided for in LAC 51:II.701 to add COVID-19 vaccines to the list of vaccinations required for school and child day care entry

Found this on the meeting schedule. Some folks have pointed out that Louisiana provides opt outs, that's true in theory.

So kids would have to go back every 6 months for boosters for the next 12 years of their life?

It’s a serious threat to our children! Look at all these countries where kids are being stacked up in the streets! Someone think of the children!

You have to be nuts if you get this shot for your kid.

in the end yes, jump when they say jump....forever and however often. It's not been stated but it is obvious frog in pot...the shots progressed old/sick, modestly old, college age, teen, child...soon to be infant and toddler. The booster(s) progressed old/sick, all adults...i expect to see teen and child as well. Not good

So children have been mostly unaffected by this novel virus because of their strong innate immunity, but now we're going to vaccinate them with a vaccine based on a strain of the virus that is no longer circulating...

First, do no harm.

How can anyone justify this push?

Public schools are bad for your kids and you should get them out, part Ad Infinitum.

I saw Jeff Landry posted something on facebook yesterday about JBE wanting to mandate covid shots for schools and that Landry was going to sue to stop it. We'd be joining California as the only 2 states to require the vaccine for children to go to school. If California is the only state joining you in a public policy decision, its pretty safe to say its probably a fricking stupid decision.

Will be funny to watch the mass exodus from the schools if it happens

Two quick points:

1. Louisiana is one of 15 states that allow philosophical exemptions from vaccines. That means signing a piece of paper that says "I don't want to" is sufficient...for all diseases on the schedule of required immunizations.

2. Private schools and daycare centers are included in both the requirement and the exemption.

So basically LA schools requiring the clot shot is just another bluff to see if they can get a few more dummies to pay homage to Big Pharma
