I have much more respect for Holtz now. He's so right.

It's been known for well over 15 years Lou Holtz is a conservative, and he's been an outspoken one at times.

No government at all after WW2?

LINK

quote:

The final bill provided immediate financial rewards for practically all World War II veterans, thereby avoiding the highly disputed postponed life insurance policy payout for World War I veterans that had caused political turmoil in the 1920s and 1930s.[5] Benefits included low-cost mortgages, low-interest loans to start a business or farm, one year of unemployment compensation, and dedicated payments of tuition and living expenses to attend high school, college, or vocational school. These benefits were available to all veterans who had been on active duty during the war years for at least 90 days and had not been dishonorably discharged.[6]

Glad to see he has common sense and is against the commies...but also yeah, I did not know he was still kicking. Good to know.

This is almost certainly why, despite having one of the best personalities in football, we haven't seen him on a major sports network in a long time.

His natural style makes Saban look like a robot (Saban is decent, but nowhere near a natural like Holtz).

Ole Lou. I like the old boy but shite I can’t hardly understand what he’s saying. I bet they have to just throw the microphones he speaks into in the garbage when he’s done because it’s full of saliva.

They going to need Lou back next year when Saban is wearing that purple and gold on the sideline in Tiger Stadium.

The idea that people were fending for themselves in 1944–NO GOVERNMENT AT ALL—is farcical.

Rural Electrification?
