For any of you that work for corporate America, you get a financial statement each year, a bundle of paper with all this investment information. Its due to a federal law put in place back in the Enron fiasco to ensure corporations cant raid your pension fund (of course this didnt apply to social security which is why its in the shape it is now).

Apparently this rule does not apply to unions, so they are free to spend money on campaigns who then replenish their coffers when they get in office.

Im certain there are hundreds of "ngos" getting govt funding doing the same.

Will congress ever look into this, doubt it. But the DOJ certainly should.
