Exactly what did I say that here which would be considered delusional or even incorrect? I corrected false assertions. If you think that's cult like worship, then I would submit to you that followers of Carson are far more "cult like" than anything I've said. The man gave one prayer and gets on Fox regurgitating talking points and you have people here praying for his election.

Projection son. Projection.

I am not the person posting emoticons, exaggerations and hyperbole clearly bordering on a seizure because someone correctly points out Obama served only 4 years in the Senate, no president has willingly released his transcripts (Bush did but only after The New Yorker published them without his permission) and doesn't believe anyone saw the reverend as a prophet, false or otherwise, nor did he teach to hate whitey.

But I will give you space. Children and the less intelligent usually meltdown when they get frustrated.

Ben Carson will undergo the most fantastic character assassination during the primaries, by his own kind. The Dems won't raise one finger at Ben, because their cousins, the GOP, will do it for them

Their cousins, the elite, have nightmares about being called racist.

Just about everything that I have heard about Carson is positive. However, running for president is a waste of time. Oh, he may be able to make a couple of points that get picked up during the campaign, but if the goal is winning the Republican nomination I do not see this going far at all. I say this as someone who likes Carson.

What Carson should do is run for another office first, perhaps the Senate. The problem is that I think that he is from Maryland, and so he would be a long-shot for Senator in that very Democratic state. Perhaps that is why he is taking the plunge to run for President.

Maybe he should start a talk show about politics to generate some attention and to demonstrate that he can make compelling arguments on a day-to-day basis?

No experience indeed, he may get a position in the administration's cabinet. But that's it.

Michael Steele was Lt Gov of Maryland and won on a Rep ticket with the eventual gov, so it can be done.

Good. I'd love to see him run as VP if he don't make the top slot. That would be an interesting dynamic; it would drive the Lib MSM and the Black poverty pimps bat sh*^ crazy.

I admire Carson. But nobody is perfect.

Carson more strictly defines 2nd amendment rights than currently enforced.

Honestly, do we really want another inexperienced president? Obama has failed as a president because he simply was not ready for the job. And he had more political experience than Carson has.

I'm not a fan of the old guard of Washington politics staying in power, but I think we've seen beyond a doubt that incompetence is no better. Carson is brilliant, but he is not ready to lead a country.

Eta: and this thread is hilarious. Lefties bashing his lack of experience (you know it's a recipe for failure but will never go so far as to admit it) and righties looking for hope and change.

The great thing about Carson is that liberals cannot use their go-to smears against him.

The only thing they have to work with is that he's inexperienced. I'm sure they'll try to paint him as sexist, since he's not a woman. Maybe homophobic, since he's not gay. But most of their smears won't work:

"He's stupid!"

"He's racist!"

"He's grew up rich!"

"He doesn't understand the poor!"

"He's anti-science!"

There isn't much bad you can say about a black man of science who grew up in poverty and worked his way through school to become a leading pediatric brain surgeon.

So you believe we evolved from apes? Or maybe evolution is a very expansive field of study that shouldn't be boiled down to believing or not, no?

In a world in which Obama is thought by some to be the smartest president ever, Carson should be viewed as part of an ancient alien civilization by comparison.

Please don't feel the need to respond to me. Your ignorance in almost every are of discussion on this board actually scares me.

I'm not sure Obama has failed. What was his objective? I thought he was trying to create in his own image.

1. Carson doesn't believe in evolution in the sense that an amoeba evolved over time all the way into a human being.

2. Carson said Obamacare in his opinion is the worst thing that the government has done to the people since slavery. He then added that it is kind of like slavery in a way because it makes us subservient to the government.

He was not comparing it tit for tat to black slavery in America.
