I said this when the gay football player came out and was drafted by the Rams..For me football was a safe place to block out all the crap that is pushed down our throats day after day. But I also said that if they wanted to anger people this is the way to do it..

LeBron James takes a hard foul, and that China Loving POS crawls around and cries like a pussy.
They also stand for the pledge. Why? Most come from communist or socialist nightmares and fully understand what they have here.

Yeah, but "Prior to Covid" is also prior to the George Floyd incident which opened up the floodgates for what we are seeing now (not that Floyd has been the real motivation for a couple of months now). None of these professional sports leagues had embraced #BLM before now. Almost no MLB player had knelt for the playing of our National Anthem BEFORE NOW. The NFL was actually keeping Colin Kaepernick at an arms-length distance BEFORE NOW ( although they ended up paying him $60 million for the "right" to do so). I don't even recall too many NBA players kneeling BEFORE NOW.
I don't know if TV ratings will ultimately prove to be up or down for these leagues. I'm guessing they will decline, but the big question is how much they will decline. TBD. Ticket sales are a non-applicable factor right now. But, you can't really define anything by how it was before the George Floyd incident allowed the Left to totally hijack sports.
It's a totally different ballgame now (pun intended).

You really think they aren't going to be sporting BLM stuff if there is an SEC football season? It will sting more to give up SEC sports, but I haven't missed the NFL or NBA the last 3 years.
