I don't believe you because I've never seen the democrats do the right thing. You know why there are calls for Franken to step down? Because they know his replacement will be picked by a Dem governor. Menendez would be replaced by a republican governor, hence no calls for his replacement. You can say whatever you think wins an argument on a message board because you have no influence.
Democrats have never been known as a group that does the right thing. They'll win by hook or by crook.

Menendez faced a trial by jury and was acquitted. You have to respect the legal process, whatever the outcome. I expect the same from fellow democrats regarding the Russian collusion allegations.
