If you compare the combat power and national strength of the nations that Israel would likely have to contend with, you'd see that any 'gloves off' scheme would result in Israel being completely destroyed if the US is not there to back them up.

Maybe, but Israel would curb stomp Iran. Putin can’t afford to get involved.

excluding the nukes, israel can't beat iran in a one on one fight. israel has better tech, but iran has good enough tech, and a huge manpower advantage. they also have a high iq pool of people so its not a rag tag military like hamas/hezbollah

Nothing bad happened to Israel tonight. Iran had to save face after blowing up their consulate and Israel was ready for it.
I'd be fine with Israel striking Iran's nuclear sites but going way beyond that isn't ideal for us. It's ideal for defense contractors and politicians...but not us.

Well Israel cannot win a war from the air only but keep dreaming bud.
nukes are irrelevant as it’ll never be used

It may well be that Israel baited Iran with the assassination of that top General, knowing that Iran is getting close to having their nukes and looking for an excuse to level their nuke program.
