Those sorts of false equivalencies are fun, but you're failing to take into account that there's hard evidence implicating Obama's criminal gang while #MuhRussia was little more than DU's Penthouse Forum.

George W Bush signed the Patriot Act that took away more of your freedoms than Obama ever dreamed of doing.
but Obama took that power and put it to use for himself: he used info to influence elections, he used info against judges in order to influence their ruling on important cases. Remember Roberts unexpected decision on Obamacare?

We'll get the full story on Roberts when the lid comes off of Brennan's baby, Project HAMMER.

Obama bashed Bush about the Patriot act during campaign, yet when he became POTUS, he extended it and gave it steroids, more than what Bush had done.
This is a valid point. Still worth mentioning that President Obama was one of the only congressman to have the balls to vote against the invasion of Iraq. The pragmatism of surveillance (I'm against every bit of it and willing to pay the price) is substanstially affected by that terrible decision to unlawfully, and irresponsibly invade.

No war is worth violating the trust we should have in our personal liberties.

Our government has been spying on us since way before Obama and is still doing so.

No one is questioning that, nor are we condoning it.
This is about Obama, specifically. Stay on topic. Decrying "But other Presidents did it too!" does not absolve him from weaponizing the ENTIRE Intel Community to spy on a rival political campaign and seek to prevent the derailment of a carefully-crafted plot to continue his legacy/policies by installing HRC as President.
The point of the OP is that when Trump posted the first tweets about Obama tapping the phones at Trump Tower, he was met by a chorus of incredulity and derision by the media. Surely you remember this.
As time has passed, the facts have come to light that it goes well beyond wire tapping, and it goes wider than Donald Trump, private citizen.
Only the most deranged blue check on the dole from Media Matters or other Soros propaganda ventures must acknowledge that Obama had a track record of spying on American citizens, so when ANOTHER citizen reports that they have info implicating the Obama Administration, it should've been taken seriously. As a matter of fact, ANYONE could've come out on March 4, 2017 and said Obama wiretapped his phone and we all should've believed it, sight unseen, thanks to his miserable track record.
If violating Americans' rights to privacy were drunk driving, Obama would've been that nasty fricker at the bar who drives better drunk than sober and is keeping the local Uber in business after his 10th DUI.
