Reminded of this one in another thread. People have no idea of the difference between a company (one of his 500) going into bankruptcy and someone in PERSONAL bankruptcy. They literally think he has personally been broke that many times.
What are others?

People are stupid. They don’t understand that someone like Donald Trump might have dozens of companies ranging in size. Some of these companies might be a gamble going in but he has the means to take that risk. Declaring bankruptcy is just a tool to cut your losses in the event the gamble isn’t paying off.

I used to think he was poor after the "bankruptcies" back when I was late teen early 20s. Then I grew up and learned a bit about the world.

The average joe doesn't understand that businesses use strategic bankruptcies frequently.
They also don't even know what 'bankruptcy' even means from a legal and financial standpoint.
On top of that, there are several different TYPES of bankruptcy.
Ignorant people don't know they are ignorant.
