quote:

Walid Abboud issued a fierce public demand for Hezbollah to completely leave the country, urging the group to take its weapons, drones, and Iranian loyalty with them to end the ongoing devastation.

quote:

In a passionate address on Hala Al Arabiya TV, Abboud made a direct and uncompromising call to the leadership and members of the armed group. He demanded that they leave, telling them to take their weapons, their drones, their rockets, their mouthpieces, their flags, their Supreme Leader, their Iran, and their resistance axis with them.
quote:

He demanded an end to the exploitation, stating that the group must stop hijacking the populace, stop putting local dreams in chains, stop plundering the economy, stop killing children, and stop blackmailing both the citizens and the wider world.

quote:

The host concluded by stating that Iran would certainly not reject them, given the extensive exchange of bread, salt, weapons, gold, immense sums of money, and illegal Captagon between the entities.

Abboud insisted that Lebanon deserves a future completely free from external containment and proxy warfare.

Lebanon has one of the most complex political systems and environments in the country. It's a triumvirate with 2 principals largely opposing Hezbollah and 1 principal as an ally of Hezbollah.

Lebanon is almost equally comprised of Christians, Shias, and Sunnis. Having a Sunni say something negative about Hezbollah is not really news.

I'm not surprised that leftist scum would opposed Lebanon's liberation.

You have no understanding of Lebanon's internal politics, so you would also not understand that Lebanon is not occupied by Hezbollah.

Lebanon is constitutionally set up so that the President is a Marionite Christian, the Prime Minister is a Sunni Muslim, and the Speaker is a Shia Muslim.

The Prime Minister of Lebanon (Sunni) is the most likely to support a cleansing of Hezbollah by Israel. The primary complaint by the Christian President is that Hezbollah has maintained a military separation from the Lebanese government.

The biggest thing to correct in your post is that Lebanon is subjugated by Hezbollah. This is only remotely true in Southern Lebanon, which is almost entirely Shia and largely sympathetic to Hezbollah (although not exclusively). In Beirut and the non-Shia areas of the country, the Lebanese government remains fully in control.

I admit that I've only briefly read about it.

You on the other hand know more about it than the Lebanese people.

My post is entirely composed of quotes directly from the article.

It's too bad you lack the IQ to see that or the emotional maturity to accept the words of a Lebanese citizen.

Some humility may be in order. You think the guy is going to be killed because Hezbollah is in power in Lebanon. You are incorrect on both accounts.

Uh oh... Hope that dude doesn't get murdered by the religion of peace. Odds are probably high after that though.
