Learned today my Dad told my Sister to abort her firstborn back in 2006

A stunning revelation my sister shared with me today about my great vibrant and successful nephew. My dad had told her and encouraged her to abort her firstborn when she became pregnant in high school.

The subject came up because I told her how proud I was of her: in being a great mother, and the success she has had raising her three kids while being a great wife to a great man.

When she told me all I could think about was holding him the first day he was born; the pictures of my own child who was one month older in my dad's arms that thanksgiving in 2006; to watching this young man become a staple in my life as a proud uncle.

I wish to engage and possibly knock my dad's teeth out. I see him Monday and will confront him about this bullshite.

I was in Delhi when I learned this news and became enraged and livid.

Anyone who thinks abortion is good can seriously find a gun and please do the world a favor and kill yourself now. You are not worth the air you breath or pot you shite in.

I saw my nephew this evening at the fireworks here in Monroe and told him I love him and he is special. The image of his being dead and not here brings a sense of rage against pure evil I rarely ever feel in life.

My dad may get his arse beat soon. Read about it in your local paper.

I suggest you have more empathy for your dad and try to put yourself in his shoes when he found out about the pregnancy

I am against abortion and hope your dad has changed as well, but when met with drastic news like that we will sometimes act desperate. Perhaps if she had agreed to take his advice, he would have eventually calmed down and stopped her from doing it.

The past is the past- locked away in a box. Don’t start any drama that doesn’t need to be started.

He paraded around like he loved him while holding my own daughter in his arms with his grandson smiling.

Phony as frick. frick him. Disgusting. Weak and sick. A loser. I have every right to be disgusted in attempting to put that type of guilt on a 16 year old female.

He likely told her not to tell me then. I know now. And I can't sleep and can barely eat. He will have his day Monday. He deserves it. Phony mother fricker.

Calm the frick down. Your dad was trying to do what he thought was best for your sisters future. Based off what you said, it looks like you'd think everything was perfect if no one ever told you otherwise.

Unless your dad held a gun to your sisters head, she chose to get knocked up and chose to have an abortion.

My uncle suggested abortion for my son when I knocked up a girl at 18. My son is 8 now and I wouldn’t know what to do without him.
The fact that some people go straight to abortion in a tough situation instead of just laying out a plan disgusts me.
Makes you see how they approach other life challenges.

Maybe he was just reacting without thinking it through. Cut him some slack, he probably feels horrible about it.

Calm down. I’m anti-abortion too. Maybe your dad had a change of heart after his grandson was born, especially if he didnt have any grandkids born before that. I would be very hesitant to bring this topic up because it could lead to irreparable damage to your family’s relationship or cause severe depression for your dad over something he greatly regrets.

I find it beyond strange that anyone on here could be so callous to my feelings on the matter.

A life. A boy who speaks, loves, enjoys his weekends fishing we me at our lake; catching a baseball and running with me to stay in shape and loves his papa(who saw it best to abort him) with all his heart.

The first thing that comes to mind is killing him. And some of you pass it of as no thing? God damn this world is just as sick as I knew it to be. Life doesn't meant shite. Only life that matters is your own.

When the cards were laid low he laid this burden on a 16 year old. My sister. Sorry fricker.

Maybe you should talk to your dad before assuming everything your sister told you is fact.

let bygones be bygones. not that i don't appreciate your situation.

probably best you don't see or talk to your dad til you calm down.

will it help your sister or nephew by confronting your dad about it?

if it's not gonna be fruitful, i would let it go. could easily cause harm to others. not worth it.

It’s not his place to dictate what she should do, but she should be able to if she wanted

On a semi related note, would you pro-life people prefer if Sheniqua had Deshaun’s 7th illegitimate child and continue the cycle of living off the taxpayer, or her aborting that future leech?

He is a phony. Going to all the travel ball games of his and foot all games during the fall. Bragging to me about his talent in sports--he is very talented at baseball--when he actually wanted him aborted.

That is next level bull shite. That is devious and makes me vomit. How can he even show his face.

But he won't anymore. He better tell Bradyn the truth about it and ask for forgiveness or his arse won't be around him. The hypocrisy is uncanny and unmatched on his part.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that I doubt that you and your dad had a good relationship before this. Sounds to me like you have a lot of hatred toward him that predates the abortion thing.
