This is always the claim...that the videos are edited. The issue with that is it's vague. Obviously it's edited...Veritas is not publishing a 90 minute diner conversation about mostly nonsense in the hopes that you sit around long enough to catch the parts about the company they're targeting for an undercover sting.
But when they say it's edited, they allow the public to think they mean "altered," which it clearly is not. No one is even suggesting Vaertis is splicing words together to form sentences which are inflammatory. they're suggesting things are taken out of context, since you don't get to hear the whole conversation.
As if the person being targeted said all this stuff about their company only to then ay at the end of dinner, "You know I was just fricking around with all that 'guided evolution of a deadly virus' stuff, right? I'm just lookin to get laid and that's my normal closing line..."
