This isn’t a court hearing. The issue is whether it’s true. They will examine all available evidence.

Senate Majority Leader can allow or disallow hearsay. It's glorious.

**By calling for a vote of whatever the proposal may be, simple majority rules.

And the only “evidence” is the transcripts of the call, and nowhere in the transcripts does Trump discuss quid pro quo.

Schifforbrains won’t be able to play “make believe” and tell us what he thinks the conversation meant by reading between the lines.

“Uh, your honor, I know this is what the transcripts say, but this is what I think they say.” Yeah, that shite ain’t gonna fly.

The rule of thumb is, if the judge wants to hear it, it’s not hearsay. Impeachment is not a legal process,it is a political process.
The whole thing is crazy but I can’t see it being stopped. He will be impeached and tried in the senate where he will prevail, and be re-elected.

It won't be just that one call. It will be all the calls between Trump and Zelensky. And calls made by Giuliani. And notes of Giuliani's meeting in Spain. And communications regarding the withholding of the aid.

Is there any way that hearsay is allowed?

Somehow someway and by complete coincidence, Congress changed the rules a couple of weeks prior to this bullshite coming out.

Ukrainian officials were "led to believe that a [future] meeting or phone call between" Trump and Zelensky would depend on Zelensky's willingness to "play ball"

The phrase "depends on" mean that the phone call or meeting was contingent upon Ukraine being willing to "play ball".

Why would you expect it in the actual transcript?
