Law and Order SVU episode "Flight" mirrors Epstein case

I was watching this interview with one of Epstien's accusers LINK when I noticed her story eerily mirrors a law and order SVU episode called titled "Flight".

In the episode, a rich man in new York with strong ties to the government has a madam find underage girls to come to his penthouse and give him massages. He would pay them, and they would leave. Although, it gets out of hand with some of them and he rapes them.

So, now, it really makes me wonder if the SVU writers knew of Epstein and what was going on...hmm

The episode was made in 2011. Epstein's crimes came out in 2009. It was well known by that point. I saw the episode years ago and I knew exactly who they were referring to.

Yeah, since this resurfaced I recalled that episode, too...clearly based on this case.

This happens a lot in TV. Nip/Tuck used to mirror crazy medical cases on their show
