LA Libs Sabotaging Themselves

I have seen LA media outlets framing the state election last night as a huge smack down on Gov. Landry.
But when libs start breaking down the individual results of teachers not getting pay raises and library funding being defeated, then it switches to a coordinated operation by Landry supporters to crush teachers and fancy book learning.
It must be nice to be Dems. No matter what happens, it gets framed as....they are a shining light of goodness valiantly fighting against Landry and his henchmen. Even when they vote down all the amendments, it's still Landry's doing.

What more are teachers going to do to offset the higher salaries? Typically you would need to provide more value in order to get paid more.
How is LA ranked on education nationally? Maybe if they were moving up the ranks or in the top 10 states they could be deserving of a raise.
Or are they asking for more money to keep graduating illiterate students?
