Advocate article quotes Dr. Steve Nelson the dean of LSU HSC school of medicine. "This donation will allow us to conduct clinical trials examining how hydroxychloroquine may help clear the virus from the lungs of infected patients and to potentially help shield health care workers who are on the front lines treating patients," Dr. Steve Nelson, dean of LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, said in a prepared statement.
To be fair, TDS has killed a lot of people across our entire country and the world.

Thanks, you’re right. According to Worldometer: LINK / - La. Has the highest death rate in the country. The dean of medicine wants to start a trial instead of aggressively beginning treatment before intubation, or ventilation. Patients wishing to survive this disease better start requesting this treatment. Too many doctors suffer from TDS and it’s killing people.

We have the worst death rate in the nation because we are not treating our citizens with a cure we’ve known about since 2005. Something is wrong with our health care system and until we confront them it will continue. New Orleans is full of TDS victims including doctors. Many citizens already choose other locations like Texas and other states for healthcare. It will only get worse as people look at the Louisiana death rate compared to the rest of the world. We play good football though!
