Re: #2: Why would anyone vote AGAINST a decrease in their tax liability?

Yes to all.
As much as I hate the fact that we’ve turned the amendment process into a substitute for actual law making.

Vote Yes to 1 and 2, no to 3 and 4

Vote no across the board and make the legislature come up with something that isn't such a shite show.

I'm voting No on all four of these amendments. I've researched all of them, and these amendments were brought during the special session on taxation to try to get around a Constitutional convention.

While that is the highlight of the amendment, the actual amendment itself is a 120+ page rewrite of article VII which touches many other topics.
Smells like hide the ball bs to me.

That’s the official position of the Louisiana Democrat party.

But you have to start reading these bills like a detective would. For example, why would we need a bill to prosecute out of town lawyers? It seems (purely speculation) that they are trying to create more courts to prosecute these idiots which means more taxes to compensate more gov't workers IDK.

Update: there are signs throughout NOLA urging voters to go against all the amendments. Perhaps it’s a good thing i ended up voting for them all.
