Nope. You missed the point.
The point was that Nunes released his description of the documents WITHOUT releasing the underlying documents themselves, so that the public could make their own determination of the facts after seeing the documents.

Not sure what you are talking about. Many of the documents are FBI documents. The current DOJ (headed by Sessions) has control over all of those documents.

First of all, does that same precedent apply for every president and politician before him that didn't "declassify everything" to back up their claims?

The FBI documents at issue in this case, do in fact belong to the executive branch, so they can readily be declassified.
