Didn’t they go for Biden?

I hate it, really, but you reap what you sow.

These "environmentalists" are going to prevent the Canadian Oil Sands from being refined in Gulf Coast refineries, the cleanest refineries in the world. So these oil sand companies are just going to transport the oil west to ship to China so it can be refined in some of the dirtiest refineries in the world.

Congrats on the kindergarten level of understanding on this topic, did you read wiki for a whole 30 seconds prior to posting.

The entire reason the pipeline was being built is they have no means to ship this oil to China, the entire thing is now a folly and would never be considered in todays market place, when it was planned the US was a importer, today not so much.

The ONLY reason folks GAF about Keystone is it has become a political hot potato, it will make almost zero difference for US refiners other than providing a bit of feed stock for diesel, the damn thing will never be used at anywhere near capacity.

The modern Democrat party is the party of coastal elitists who couldn't care less about the working-class people in the flyover zone and the GOPe isn't much different.

The whole point is to get to the water, to the world market, not some special deal for the US.

It’s this kinda stupid shite that gets put into theee debates that undermines their position.

Keep it simple: There’s no legit reason to kill keystone, the oil will still move by rail and there will be no overall impact on emissions or consumption. The dems kill it because it’s an easy bone to throw to their greenies and it has no material impact on energy costs. /scene

I remember reading a article last year that talked about the different phases of the Keystone pipeline. (It might have been a link on the poliboard)

Besides distance what is the main difference between the 1st phase and the XL phase?
