Kavanaugh being a "Bush" guy is a silly narrative

The last Republican President we had appointing judges was Bush. The bullpen of younger judges at the Federal level with any experience is ONLY Bush appointees. Trump's nominees have been planted but are still up and coming.
It's difficult to nominate someone for the Supreme Court without them having a decent chunk of experience in the Federal Courts already, so if you want a young judge you're almost strictly going to pulling from Bush's appointees. Bush's judges probably run a wide range from great to terrible and it's clear Kavanaugh is from the better end.
Assuming Trump gets a second term, he will then be able to pull Supreme Court nominees from his own lower court appointees.

Was he Skull and Bones at Yale?
Would have been nice for once to get an outsider apart from the inner-circle of Ivies and Texas politics.
His whole bio doesn't seem independant...I hope he doesn't owe massive political debts and can be independant and avoid the Pelican brief.
