That chart is currently. The CA bar passage rate was much higher in 1989 when she graduated law school.
Also, CA is one of only 4 states that allows you to take the bar without having graduated from law school. Of course they will have one of the lowest bar passage rates. It’s not because it’s hard.

While you're right about the overall passage, the CA bar is regarded as one of the hardest. Typically it will be at least in the top 5 of any list you look at.

Well I am not defending lawyers but many do that become best in the business so this is a non event.

Does anyone here think Donald Trump could pass a bar exam if he studied for a decade? The man preemptively threatened to sue anyone who released his student records. Hes a nepo baby who couldn’t get through community college without his daddy holding his tiny hand.
