Just saw SNAP benefits will be given earlier this month (Jan 20)

But they are warning that more benefits wont come until March because of shutdown so plan and budget wisely

I am gonna be avoiding grocery stores on Jan 20

They are gonna sell out of junk food that day for sure.

I know you're being sarcastic, but they actually are. Think about it, some basically live off the taxpayer dime for years and also kept effectively free childcare and support for the kids until adulthood.

The shutdown at best is a temporary setback for them.
