I don't trust Hawley, but I do agree with what he's saying. I think what he means is the Trump big tent GOP that welcomes voters from all walks of life including the gay community, blacks, and blue collar workers in the rust belt.
If we don't grow the base, the GOP will be outnumbered soon. Don't let dems divide us on social issues like gay marriage, or identity politics. Stand united on the things we all agree on as sane Americans and the dems can't do shite about it.

Have to be honest, the only ones pushing people against gay marriage, are the LBGT peeps. Their in your face tactics, and targeting Christian Bakeries, companies,etc, because of their faith is pushing a divide. Those who were fence sitters or starting to open up, are beginning to push against, again.
Gays will have to reel in the LGBTLMNOPQRS peeps, they are bad for their business and their causes.

Hawley and Cruz got in the way of a stellar 5th Circuit nomination, Sul Ozerden, supposedly because he followed the law and dismissed an Obamacare challenge as not yet being ripe.
