He was a missionary in china, I believe.
I think maybe the society was named for him after he got killed.

He was a missionary in China, who eventually worked as an interpreter and intelligence officer with Chennault. Became an OSS officer, and has already been stated, was killed by Communist Chinese.

Yep. Same old story. Establishment republicans fight and oppose NO ONE as much as they do conservatives. People like Buckley came out against them because they just weren't condescending and elitist enough for him. The JBS was right then, just like Trump has been right. Look how the republican establishment treats them.

They are still active though mostly are a bunch of hayseed backwards morons. They seek to interfere with their interpretations of what constitutes infringement of public policy. They seek to kill 250 of the last 10 actual freedom infringements...
