Anecdotal but I’m seeing small businesses start to permanently close. I think the unemployment benefits are making it hard to staff.

Let’s remember this is jobless claims. I know a guy that has received 4 of these and none of their hours were cut.

Yesterday he received one, come to find out the guy asked his direct report to lay him off.

Edit: not to say this isn’t a problem either way

Also anecdotal...my daughter returned to work and 75% of the employees of the business refused to return, citing that they feared the virus, all the while telling her personally that they did not want to take a ‘pay-cut’.
