You realize this is not a pre-existing condition if the mother has health insurance, right?

The child is automatically covered under the mother's policy for the first 30 days (I think it's 30 days). If the mother does not have insurance, a child born with a heart defect will likely qualify for either Medicaid or whatever the state in question calls their Child with Special Healthcare Needs program.

Why is it such heresy to admit that these politicians are doing the same shite as their predecessors? It's always, "well Obama did this." Yeah, no shite. Lying politicians were the exact same before November as they are now. They just hopped to the other side of the aisle.

Now, you have a talk show host that calls out a politician for blatantly lying to the American public, and frankly does so in a manner that started at least relatively nonpartisan, and he's an idiot for it.

Some people literally cannot be helped.

Agreed. The issue is undoubtedly personal for both even though their platforms remove them from the plight of the common, less wealthy citizen, but I'd like to see the discourse.
