It's always "taken out of context" when money is involved.

Here’s his strategy. His ratings were in the crapper. Instead of waiting for his show to get canx for economic reasons he took this opportunity to bash Charlie knowing they’d fire him.

Then he can claim it was disagreement instead of economics because his show sucked.

Thats the kind of egos we’re dealing with here. He wanted to be fired vs wait and get laid off.

F him and people like him.

Yeah, it's always taken out of context by folks like him but not for redneck idiot conservative folks.

Why would I want him to apologize? I do want him to move to Italy already.

Not surprised. He is too full of himself for self reflection.

Not picking up for Jimmy here but man to have money and be told to get lost? Yes sir!

You're not Jimmy, so it's a dumb thought. No man like Jimmy wants his power or what he thinks is his power stripped from him in embarrassing fashion. Most of all, he doesn't want to lose his war with conservatives/Republicans. He is losing. And we all know he is seething. It's quite lovely.

I think he is too arrogant to think he'd be fired over comments like this (look at his previous comments). But now that they are forcing him to apologize, he probably would rather be fired because he certainly doesn't want to go through that humiliation and he knows he is going to get cancelled anyway soon.

I think he is probably in shock that they suspended him and took his show off the air.

Jimmy Kimmel (should be slowly dropped into a bath of acid, so slowly that he experiences maximum pain for at least 10 minutes, only to pass out after 10 minutes once the pain has reached his calves) is not to blame. Should I apologize for what's out of context? There is no room for this type of narrative. This guy should not be on TV. EVER. But he should not be dipped into a vat of acid either.
