quote:
“Donald J. Trump is the only head of state in the entire world who is sympathetic to the nation of Israel at this moment in time,” Vance said during a a news briefing at the White House. “The problem for Israel is not Donald J. Trump, and anybody in Israel who thinks their biggest problem is the president of the United States needs to wake up and smell the reality of the situation that country is in.”

Everybody sees what’s happening here, right?
Trump sends Vance out to jump on the grenade
Vance making sneaky “Trump loves Israel” comments and trying to distance himself from this shitshow while still sounding loyal
This is gonna be fun for the next 2 years

Catholic POTUS JD won’t play these stupid games with Israel when the time comes

That's why I decided to bold that portion.
They don't have other friends and for good reason

If they don't get in line then at some point we have to decouple ourselves from them. They can get back in good ally status if they do what we tell them. If the Trump administration tells them to jump they need to ask how high.

It is
Which is why it’s interesting that it’s coming from the #2 man who has his eyes on 2028

My understanding is that JD and Tulsi Gabbard were 2 of a very small list of people in the administration who were against the attack prior to Feb 28th.
He is also known to be one of the principal negotiators of the ceasefire deal, along with Witkoff and Kushner.
Once the 2028 campaign begins, he can say "I was against attacking Iran, and after we did, I was the one who got us out of it."
Would that be a reasonable approach for him to take to give himself a leg up over Marco Rubio?

Absolutely
His verbiage was not an accident
He didn’t say “the United States is your only friend” or “this administration is your last ally”
He specifically mentioned Trump.

The first part is ok, but leave the credit for the new JCPOA to Trump, Kushner, and Witkoff.

JD Vance has been amazing the last few months. All the fraud stuff he’s leading and getting the word out on Iran deal, just explains everything so well.
