Correct.
They take a floor or wing...call it an ICU and tell you they opened another Covid ICU. When they don't have enough numbers to justify it they "close" it.
OLOL has been doing it from the beginning... "we have 7 Covid ICU's".
It's all a numbers/money game.

They released a new info graphic today. You might have missed a hurricane that passed through the area last week amd disrupted just about everything. Although fortunately there wasn’t a lot of direct injury in the BR area, there was substantial property damage including among staff of the hospital. They have been busy trying to make sure the staff is taken care of and able to come to work. The Covid reports took a backseat to that.
