It is May 30, 2023: Has Twitter had to shut down yet?

It's been approximately 6 months since articles like these were flooding the internet:
NPR: As Twitter's workforce crumbles, users are tweeting their eulogies for the platform
VOX: The weird sorrow of losing Twitter
Etc.
I tried to login this morning and...it looks the same as ever. More options, even. Funny.

Side note - has that other platform from Dorsey done well? I know AOC is on it but that's the only one I know is on there.

Most of the women in my family are super lib. The worst one, an aunt, was going on and on around then about how Elon would destroy the platform. I'm like "uh, by getting rid of some useless employees and letting a few conservatives back on?"

It's called propaganda. MSM rabidly attacked Elon and Twitter any way they could because one of their "tools" for spreading propaganda/controlling the narrative, was compromised.
If one can see this propaganda campaign for what it was/is, then it should be possible for some to see the other lie campaigns our own media has unleashed on the public.

I suspect the federal government and Elon had a come to Jesus meeting after the Twitter Files were released. Elon has realized that Twitter is unsustainable without federal government backed infrastructure (aka, AWS and Google Cloud Services) and he has bent the knee. Enter Linda Yaccarino. It's not Twitter, it's Elon's other ventures that need the fed gov to succeed. The only thing the fed gov have over Twitter is Section 230. SpaceX and Tesla cannot succeed without the fed gov's blessing. Also, his latest project Neuralink was recently awarded approval for in-human clinical study. Must play nice.
