Although they didn't want to. Earlier today they were saying it's too premature and that we needed to keep bombing for another month. Yet now they're agreeing to the Ceasefire.
But muh Trump is Netanyahu's puppet!!
Seriously though, the hard part of all of this will be to keep Israel to their word.

If we’d just told them to do whatever they want but that they’re on their own from the jump we could’ve avoided this whole engagement.

Yep. Part of this was a total regional ceasefire. Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen. It's all supposed to stop now.

Iran has been obliterated. I'm not trying to say that Iran is trustworthy. Only that Israel was saying only today that the ceasefire is premature and that we need to keep bombing another month.
No matter what Tehran Tim is saying right now, Iran is hoping like hell we actually quit dropping hell on their asses. Israel is the one who wants to keep dropping hell on their asses.
Israel is the wildcard here. To ignore that is foolish.

Oh I definitely am not ignoring that fact. I just think they and Iran are equally untrustworthy. Iran can still act through proxies.
