I think we are watching an early ugly primary fight and DeSantis has found his only way back into the fold. Why would they like Trump and not Vance?

If you break down the upcoming primary fight of 2028, many don't like hearing this...But DeSantis voting for no abortion past 6 weeks and Vance's abortion stance nationally is unknown-like it or not-they both may lose the rustbelt on this issue.

DeSantis emptying out Fla of even non criminal illegals will be sketchy for him running for President. Abortion is a States right issue and Trump is done with it. Other R's running may not see it this way.

So even if the issue is hammered out and Vance can hang on to Trump's coalition. This Israel v. Qatar fight won't go away. I think it is sleazy way for DeSantis to re enter.

It is sleazy of Marco and DeSantis. More wise for DeSantis. If I had to choose I'd pick DeSantis over Rubio. Rubio was on the gangof8 for all the ops against Trump.
