So how did the regular ISIS savages form?
Former regime element (FRE) in Iraq, mostly comprised of Fedayeen, and foreign fighters.

I guess it is the Kabul franchise or something.
If I had to guess, ISIS-Khorasan. There is a very religious context to using Khorasan, and it is specifically that region.

What became the ISIS army Trump destroyed in Syria was the group known as AQ in Iraq that we fought the Iraq war. They were the remnants left out of that war. We killed the leader of AQ in Iraq before the war ended and then the guy that Trump killed took charge and reconstituted in parts of Iraq and Syria.
This is correct. AQIZ was FRE and foreign fighters. What was left of them became ISIS.

ISISK is a bunch of former Taliban guys that thought the Taliban was to moderate and broke off to join ISIS and swore allegiance to they guy Trump killed that was head of ISIS.
Less taliban and more foreign fighter but also correct.
