Is Louisiana still a jungle primary?

I am Independent and they made me declare to be able to vote today.

You declare which primary you’d like to vote in… democrat, republican, or no party.

I believe there were several letters sent out regarding how Independent would be its own party. So if you wanted to vote, you'd have to change it.

The rules about this were also posted all over my polling station... I assume it was the same at all polling stations across the state
