I put a photo of Richard Nixon in my wall locker prior to the company commander's inspection during basic training. IIRC, he and the Senior Drill thought it was weird.

some 45 years ago I would help deliver appliances from my father in laws store to customers in and near Donaldsonville. In over 90% of black family homes where we delivered merchandise there was a picture of JFK hanging in the living room. I've never seen a picture any other president in anyone's home, then or since.

I have a framed print of the January 6, 1941 Time magazine cover with Winston Churchill as "Man of the Year" in my office.
I do know a guy who has an 8x10 photo of Trump hanging in his house.
I remember seeing a photo of my grandparents taken in their living room from the 1950's and in the background there is a small photo of Eisenhower on the wall. It was a lot more common back then.
