This thread made me think of the Red House Furniture commercial posted here some years ago. ??

Discrepancy Between Representation and Data in Home Security Ads
In recent years, television advertisements for home security systems have shown a noticeable pattern: white males are often depicted as the intruders or “bad guys.” This trend stands in contrast to crime data published by institutions like the FBI, which indicate that Black individuals are statistically arrested more often for crimes such as burglary and robbery.
According to FBI Uniform Crime Reporting, black individuals are arrested at disproportionately higher rates for certain crimes, including property crime and violent offenses.
If the purpose of a home security ad is to highlight a realistic threat, then casting should reflect the statistical realities of crime demographics. Portraying white men as the default “bad guy” in ads is less about fighting stereotypes and more about substituting one group as a scapegoat to shield another from criticism.
This distortion could mislead viewers by presenting a skewed version of reality—especially when such portrayals are repeated over and over. In effect, the desire to avoid appearing racist results in unfair representation of another group.

White male privilege = they have more opportunities to be criminals.

Well that should tell you us white folks are a little observant and a little pissed at what we see.
It tells me that the typical PT poster has a lot of big feelings.
And that you, ma'am, have a low IQ to match that small brain of yours.

One more thing. Has there ever been a hate crime charge against a "minority" for a crime against white folks?
This crime still makes my blood boil but it was not considered a hate crime.. LINK
This (see link above) crime stands out to me not only for the callousness of the animals that committed the crimes, but also for the disregard and lack of coverage of the national press because of the race of the victims and the race of the criminals. It's a bit of a long read but is worth the time to understand how brutal things can become when confronted with savages.
Do not let your guard down, better to kill than be killed.

Read the story and my blood boiled. Just imagine had the opposite happened?

Art imitates life, and life imitates art- at least that’s what the creators of the commercials are hoping

Whites and white supremacy are the number one problem in this country. Whites cause all the crimes.
Whites are the reason for every problem.
Obama was correct in doing the best job of any President causing a schism between the races.
Once this country gets its head out of its arse and deports every white person, things will be an unparalleled utopia in America. This is what it’s going to take to truly Make America Great For A Change.

Is it just me or others that notice every fricking home alarm, lawn lighting and even computer virus protection commercials only show white male criminals? I have never seen one where a so called "minority" was the criminal. Pretty much the same thing with all the TV CSI series.

Funny how this exact same thread, almost word for word, gets reposted here about once every month or so
That tells me there'a justification for all these threads then. Thanks.
