What do you think about Trump’s phase 1 deal that got China to eliminate the requirements that American bankers have Chinese partners on investments in China? An action that has resulted in hundreds of billions of US dollars being invested in China since the deal was signed.

The swamp is like a breeding ground for Goldman monsters. They're a world wide problem though not just our swamp

Just think about the thousands of investment vehicles they have put together that can spread money around discretely to the politicians. A contribution here, a real estate loan there, a stock option deal here and on and on.

Oh yeah i mean they're as corrupt and evil a corporation that's out there. They do all kinds of stuff once they get your country an investment fund

What does Goldman Sachs have to do with chemical bonds?

Even if you meant eons, an eon is a time period encompassing a million years.

This is only one of the more recent examples as well but they're essentially they have zero moral compass except making more money at that place.

Work with a dictator? Sure.

Financial crisis involvement? I mean which one weren't they involved in?

Getting favors from appointed former employees? Practically invented by Goldman.

Offshoring assets to the Caymens to avoid taxes? Yet another Goldman speciality

Various securities fraud? Oh yeah baby. Plenty of this.

These guy invent new ways to frick people out of money. They hire the best and brightest and ensure they receive the least critism by their former employee network. Their fines or settlements tend to end up less than they made on the illegal activity anyways.

FIFY

In short, crime pays, especially “white-collar” crime.

Reminds me of the taxpayer funded Congressional Sexual Harassment fund and how it conveniently was swept under the rug the week the public became aware of it.

That there’s not a bipartisan grassroots movement to prevent elected officials from abusing their position to become millionaires is a sad reflection of the sorry state this country is in. I doubt that our founders would be opposed to barring politicians from investing at the very least for their time in office.
