Her daughter disrupted the whole fair calling in a wrecker to seize the display limo from inside the building. And then the daughter took great pleasure in engaging boisterously with the business and the fair organizers in a threatening manner. She said she dropped her daughter off at home and told her she would not see her the rest of the weekend she was so embarrassed. She said she didn't raise her daughter to be a bitch like that.
Exactly the kind of person who shouldn't have that kind of power.

This is a good reason to have CPAs file your business and income taxes. The IRS tend to not scrutinize filings done by CPAs.
this is why accountants and CPA do not want to overhaul the tax code
all of that complexity is job security

I don't get the speedy sale, what is perishable about dresses and Tuxedos? The storage costs couldn't be that high?
That's extremely fricked up. Further, it seems there has been no trial (at least according to the OP). I don't have a problem with civil forfeiture AFTER a trial. I wouldn't be against the government seizing it and holding it until the result of the trial; but to allow the government to just come in and take your shite and dispose of it having never been before a jury is a violation of due process in my opinion.

Guilty until proven innocent.
Thanks progs, your IRS is keeping us free and funded.

, the penalties and interest can stack up very quickly.
which is bullshite because half the time people don't even know they filed incorrectly bc reading the tax code is like a blind person reading braille written by Michael J Fox.
Additionally, the govt doesn't pay us interest when we over pay, but got forbid we under pay...

OP - is this case about no paying taxes on time, or is it about structuring $10,000 cash payments and refusing to answer a bank teller filling out a CTR?
