Is it going to be just a slap in the face. Because the last time someone slapped the US in the face, he had navy seals put a bullet through his brain case. My suggestion is that when sed slap is delivered, General Mattis should be the recipient. He will deliver the appropriate response.

I suspect our current leader is being underestimated by Iran, at their own risk. If it comes to a confrontation, Mattis will not take his foot off the neck, and Trump won't ask him to.

Yes and I realize any Muslim outranks any Infidel so when the shite hits the fan all of their infighting stops and we face the full brunt of Islam, all at once.

I misunderstood your post to mean veterans were the source as per the MSM. Reread my response with that in mind. We got off track of my original intent.
