No one except John Bolton is acting as if the US should have stayed in Afghanistan, so pointing to where Trump was proclaiming he'd set the process in motion is not exactly some gotcha.
The issue is HOW to leave, and this was not at all "Trump's Plan."
This what it would have looked like in 1978 had we had social media during the Carter Years. Some a-hole would have been trying to deflect from Iran just as badly.
