You obviously cant read. Ive already said throughout the thread that Ivanka's character or identity isnt at issue. She has stepped into a political role and is being judged as a part of the administration. Not that hard of a concept to grasp for such an accomplished intellectual like yourself eh?

This is the problem the left has, and the problem the left keeps doubling down on: the left is overtly against everything and everyone remotely associated with this President, his administration, his policy, etc. They continue to do this under the presumption that the majority of Americans support their cause. America does not.
There are some inherent problems here:
1) While being so hyper-obstructive and resistant to anything Trump, the left is hurting its own constituency (assuming any of them are still freethinking and can see it, of course). They missed the mark during the election, and they continue to do so on important legislation opportunities.
2) The left is losing moderate America who maybe didn't vote for Trump, but they see his admin and Repubs putting actual money back in their pockets, while the left is so wrought with Trump Derangement Syndrome, they are paralyzed.
3) You are reducing a woman's worth to that of her father's name. Let that sink in for a second: the left, and you, are denying Ivanka the right to be judged and criticized on the basis of her own character and opinions, but rather, you're inextricably linking her to her father without any regard for her opinions, her beliefs, her voice, her accomplishments, her rights to be an independent adult. That is the height and epitome of sexism. Bravo, lefties.

Keep acting like the Dems aren't in a heap of trouble they've created for themselves. It's gonna make it so much sweeter this fall when the blue wave doesn't happen and Trump gets another major piece of legislation passed (read that as NOT an executive order like BHO liked to do because he couldn't do anything else).

I really am a little shocked after opening this thread. I've been conversing with you on this board for over seven years now, and I've never seen this side of you. I would wager the main reason he throws shade to Ivanka is because of her father. It's unfair. I like Ivanka. But because she's so closely associated with Donald Trump, she receives vitriol when she's done nothing wrong.
You are doing in this thread exactly what Kenworthy is doing to Ivanka. The only reason you made this thread was to highlight that he's gay, as referenced it three of the four sentences in your post. Just like Kenworthy's obnoxiousness towards Ivanka is only because she's Trump's daughter.

I'm gay, so obviously I'm around lots and lots of other gays, and I have to tell you, the straight community has good cause to call out the LGBT community on its bullshite. For years our community has demanded equal rights and acceptance all while marching under the banner of love, tolerance, and acceptance. Kenworthy's orientation is not the issue here, except for what I mentioned above about the overall hypocrisy of the LGBT community.
Finally, what LA did is nothing like what Kenworthy did to Ivanka. LA called out Kenworthy for his actual actions, and Kenworthy blasted Ivanka for nothing other than the fact she is a Trump. Again, God forbid Rippon or Kenworthy actually want to meet with her since she's and LGBT ally who has the President's ear.
But again, their point wasn't to affect change, it was to grandstand and get their few minutes of fame. I'd argue if either had won gold, they'd have enjoyed so much more fame.
