There’s an old interview from the 80s that I can’t find right now where Trump talks about how interesting it would be to lose it all just for a little while just to find out who’s really loyal.

People followed Trump because he was fun and taking on the bad guys that were attacking us. He's gotten bitter and is attacking all his friends. He's not able to learn and change and he's lost his ability to draw people in. He's made it about him and not us, which was why he was elected. I don't think he's going to recover.
