Following it was never necessary. I realized it was bullshite because every single time a Q follower made some vague prediction and they were asked for specifics, they don't have any. They get mad at you for asking the question if anything. The concept is cool enough but there's nothing to suggest it's real.

Everybody likes to have special knowledge but Q isn't special knowledge, it's just an endless spam of short phrases that, if you're creative enough, you can try to bend around anything that happens, no matter how long ago the drop was, no matter how generic the drop was. It has no predictive power, so even if it's Barron screwing around having fun, it's pointless.
